About Us

Welcome to System Overload, a VEXU robotics team based in Portland, Oregon, with members from Oregon State University, Oregon Institute of Technology, and Washington State University. Founded by passionate members of the local VEX community following the High Stakes season, our team was formed with the goal of continuing to grow in competitive robotics at the university level. With just 10 dedicated members, we launched System Overload under the non-profit organization System Robotics, committed to advancing STEM education through hands-on learning, mentorship, and community outreach. Together, we aim to push the boundaries of innovation, develop real-world technical skills, and inspire the next generation of STEM leaders through competition and collaboration.

System Robotics is a non-profit organization committed to advancing STEM education through hands-on learning, mentorship, and community outreach centered around robotics. Our mission is to inspire and equip students with the technical knowledge and teamwork skills essential for success in STEM fields. We support robotics teams by fostering a collaborative environment and providing technical resources, promote education through workshops and mentorship, and lead by example with our own competitive robotics team that applies real-world STEM skills while serving as a model for outreach and learning.
